"For years, I have sat and listened to in-service meetings about information that I would not use in my classroom. "Coaching is a strenuous profession. It is what I call a 'thank-less' job. It is demanding as well as rewarding. I have felt alone a lot of times when being a Head Coach in the past. I am sure there are several other Coaches in the country that feel the same way. This past season I did not feel alone. I had someone (as well as my mentoring group) to 'take weight off my shoulders. felt that I had a lifeline. Many of the decisions we make as Head Coaches get very personal.
